Director's Notes

Have you ever had a very special friend?

At some point in our lives, we all find someone who has a certain something that immediately draws us to them. They have the ability to create in us an ease to which we readily succumb and fill our hearts and minds with a comfort that is sometimes hard to describe. We find ourselves believing, trusting, discovering, and learning from them as they enlighten our spirits, generate our hopes, and broaden our horizons with their example. They instill in us that blessings abound and allow us to know that joy can come from simplest of things in the most unexpected ways. They give us the realization that life moves very fast and remind us not to tke for granted the things we think will last forever. We are left with the sense that life has given us something special for having known such a person.

On July 2, 1997, we all lost a very special friend.

Dedicated to the memory of Mr. James Stewart
