Director's Notes

Laughter is good for us. It is a tremendous release, it lightens the soul and above all else it just feels out-and-out wonderful. I'm sure we can all remember laughing so hard that our sides ached, our eyes filled with tears and we had trouble catching our breath. It was knee-slapping, side-splitting, fall-out-of-your-chair funny ... and it was worth it! Those are some of best moments we could ever hope to have.

It's wonderful to succumb to the power of laughter.

Let's face it, we as human beings are just naturally funny. We do crazy things and get ourselves into crazy situations ... no evolution here. We stayed right there in the mud and never gained an inch. But that's okay! Sometimes it's good to laugh at ourselves just for laughter's sake.

So don't worry about this show. No one need think, "Hey, am I getting some kind of moral lesson here?" This one is just for laughing out loud and enjoying.

Oh, by the way ... I forgot to mention that laughter is also contagious. Here's hoping that everyone catches something from someone else. Hats off to laughter ... it can sometimes be our saving grace.
