Membership Information

You are invited to become a member of BCT. Membership includes many benefits.

For Participants

For those who actually work on or in BCT shows.

  1. A chance to do what you enjoy doing; (i.e., acting, set building, painting, ushering, working with money in the box office, designing lighting/sound, directing, stage managing, set dressing, etc.)
  2. A facility to do these things in - The Bowie Playhouse is the prettiest facility in the area
  3. Liability Insurance coverage for any injuries sustained during rehearsals and/or performances
  4. Your name in a glossy, professionally-produced program for you to keep forever
  5. A professional head shot that you can keep forever, and the opportunity to order future photos from a professional photographer
  6. A chance to purchase a DVD of your work produced by a professional videographer
  7. Costumes, makeup, and all properties supplied for you to work with while performing
  8. A chance to work with award-winning directors, stage managers and technical experts
  9. A chance to meet new people, make new friends, develop long-lasting relationships and friendships, and a chance to let your family and friends see how talented you really are
  10. A chance to see your name in the newspapers in reviews and publicity
  11. A quarterly newsletter to let you know what's happening at BCT and elsewhere

Membership is required for participation in BCT productions. The membership year runs from September 1 through August 31 or any portion thereof.
